Our client worked in Southern Illinois coal mines throughout his career. He was exposed to benzene and diesel exhaust when railroad cars were loaded with coal. He sprayed RoundUp and other herbicides as a laborer. As a car restoration hobbyist, he came into contact with numerous solvents, paints and degreasers. As a result of these toxic exposures, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia that he continues to battle.
